The Pre-National Diploma (Pre-ND) Programme at SQI College of ICT is a structured preparatory pathway designed to bridge this gap. Through a focused full-time academic framework, the programme strengthens students’ foundational knowledge, builds technical and digital competence, and prepares them for a smooth and confident transition into National Diploma (ND) studies and the demands of tertiary education.

Available Options in the PRE-ND Programmes
COMPUTER SCIENCE
This programme provides students with a strong foundation in mathematics, basic computing concepts, and digital literacy, preparing them for National Diploma studies in computer science and related ICT fields.
ACCOUNTACY (WITH ICT)
Designed to prepare students for ND studies, this programme combines foundational accounting knowledge with essential ICT skills and core subjects such as mathematics, commerce, and economics.
BUS. ADMIN (WITH ICT)
This programme introduces core business and communication concepts alongside ICT-based learning, equipping students with the academic foundation required for National Diploma studies in business disciplines.
2025/2026 ADMISSION INTO PRE-NATIONAL DIPLOMA (PRE-ND) PROGRAMMES
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Pre-National Diploma (Pre-ND) Programmes of SQI College of ICT for the 2026 Academic Year. The Pre-ND Programme is a structured preparatory pathway designed to support secondary school graduates who require additional academic grounding before progressing into National Diploma (ND) studies.
The programme focuses on strengthening students’ core academic subjects, improving technical competence, and developing essential digital and learning skills required for success in a tertiary academic environment. Through guided instruction, academic support, and ICT-based learning, candidates are adequately prepared for a smooth and successful transition into National Diploma programmes upon meeting the required progression standards.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
- Interested candidates are to obtain the Pre-ND application form at the cost of ₦10,000 at sqi.edu.ng/admission.
- Payment Method is via the application portal.
- Successful candidates are to pay an acceptance fee of ₦20,000.
- After payment, candidates are required to forward proof of payment to the Admissions Office via 0906 281 9993. (The resumption is on February 23, 2026)
DURATION OF THE PROGRAMME
- The Pre-ND Programme runs for a minimum of one (1) academic session, divided into two (2) semesters.
- The program will run for 8 months, with lectures scheduled from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
- Successful candidates who meet the required academic standards will be eligible to progress to National Diploma (ND) programmes.

Applicants seeking admission are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦10,000 as part of the Pre-ND application process.
Tuition per Level
The cost of taking the Executive Professional Certificate Programme at SQI College of ICT is ₦ 300,000 per level.
